Mystic Noank Library hosting Zoom series on whole foods cooking

The Mystic Noank Library is hosting a Zoom program series on whole foods cooking led by Colin McCullough, of Colin Cooks Vegan, who teaches vegans and non-vegans alike how to incorporate whole food, plant-based materials into their cooking.

“Fresh Whole-Food Soups,” set for 6 to 7 p.m. March 25, will teach participants how to use fresh, whole-food ingredients to make delicious, heart-healthy soups, and how to make fragrant coconut soup, Lebanese red lentil soup and creamy tomato soup.  

A great sauce is the secret to making healthy foods taste great. “Healthy & Amazing Sauces,” set for 6 to 7 p.m. April 29, will teach participants to make four hearty and heart-healthy sauces and bowl meals using fresh ingredients in rice and other dishes. Sauces include lemon tahini, Cuban smoky sweet, ginger miso and nacho cheese.
