Her name is Rita Losee, and she just completed her winter ‘hike for health’, completing 400 miles of hiking.
According to WABI TV 5, Rita wants this to be an example to people of how to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. Her mission was both to remain healthy while also doing some good for the world around her. Losee says that it’s impossible for people to live a healthy lifestyle if they don’t have access to good, nutritious food. That’s why she’s hiking for the Good Shepherd Food Bank.
