Haymount Truck Stop will be Fayetteville’s first food truck court

Trucks are returning soon to the old Haymont Auto Repair, but no, it’s not what you think. 

That’s because the longtime gas station and repair shop in Fayetteville’s Haymount neighborhood is slated to become the Haymount Truck Stop, a food truck court complete with a bar, arcade, patio and outdoor entertainment space. 

Co-owner Jordan Sherrod and project manager Stephanie Pirruccello said the goal is to have four primary food trucks sign long-term leases to park in the lot at 100 Broadfoot Ave. Those trucks would then be allowed to sublease those spaces to other trucks.

2 concepts swoop out of popular Austin food court due to disagreements


Two more Austin eateries are calling it quits — but not for the most obvious reason. Korean fried chicken joint Donkey Mo’s and Roba Katsu & Teriyaki will close their locations inside H Mart’s popular food court later this month, with the owner citing not the pandemic, but irreconcilable differences with the Asian supermarket chain.
