PROVIDENCE — Hometown Cafe & Poke Bar has reopened on Camp Street after an extended legal battle between owners Becca Brady and Tiffany Ting.
Ting bought the business at a court-appointed Special Master’s auction on March 15 for $170,000.
The Providence restaurant was No. 40 on Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2020. The fast-casual shop specializes in poke, the flavorful raw fish dish from Hawaii that has become popular in recent years. Assembled to order in front of the guest, the bowls are customized with an assortment of toppings.
