Valentine is one of the most ambitious, beautifully weird, and best restaurants to open in recent memory. The Melrose hybrid by Blaise Faber and Chad Price — part coffee lounge, part eatery, part bar, part experimental cocktail “vault” — is so distinct and so out of left field that nothing else in greater Phoenix feels remotely similar. Even the mid-century modern, throwback-desert aesthetic is fine-tuned to its own frequency. Something groundbreaking is happening here, and it’s just beginning.

Food review: Ready to party with taco treats

There appears to be an error on the webpage. It’s almost as delicious as the food that’s delivered to the door.

On Club Mexicana’s Megabox Taco Kit it describes a stack of food that is basically a party, rather than a dinner. And above all of that, it promises this: 100% vegan – 100% delicious! I’ve cut and copied that from their website, just to make sure.

So, we’re looking for vegan. We’re looking for delicious. Let’s see what’s on the list.

For the uninitiated: NYC-based Sakara is a wellness-focused brand that specializes in the clean-eating lifestyle. It’s best known for its plant-based meal-delivery service that infamously costs a very pretty penny; the three-day plan costs about $239 total (including breakfasts, lunches, and dinners) and the five-day plan is about $349 total. The Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with festive new treats. We released the full list of limited-time treats available across the resort this month, and feel pretty lucky to be trying this Irish stout Bundt cake at The Artist’s Palette.
